Maam Bridge is where the navigation on Lough Corrib ends. The pier is long & straight so is an easy pier to moor to. It is possible to moor right up to the bridge, but take note that it gets quite shallow under the bridge.
Keane's Pub can be found at the junction at the top of the bridge. You are guaranteed a warm welcome with a friendly & relaxed atmosphere. Possibly the tastiest & best value toasted sandwiches (€3.50 as of 20/02/2010) in Ireland!

Slipway
Width: 3.2 metres
Gradient angle: Quite steep but good grip on surface so easy to launch day boat / small RIB with a car
Notes
EXTREME CAUTION must be taken when entering / leaving Maam basin. There are two shallows which pose a serious threat to navigation, but can be easily avoided. These shallows are clearly outlined in CorribCharts.
Very shallow under bridge, but possible to moor right up to bridge.
